Come, then, and let us too, while there is time, drink from the "well of vision," where Isaac "walks about" and where he goes forth to exercise. Observe how many things are done at the waters, that you too may be invited to come daily to the waters of the word of God and to attend at his wells, just as Rebekah also did, of whom it is said: "She was a virgin, very beautiful, a virgin, no man had known her." "And she," it says, "went out late to draw water."
